Question: I am a 20-year-old male. I am unhappy with my quality of life as people like to poke fun at me because of my size and I really don’t like that a lot. I know that many times, they are only joking but it really hurts, and sometimes I don’t think they know that.
I have lost about 65 lbs since my peak weight but people do not see me as someone who has lost weight from before, but someone who is still really fat. I can’t blame them as it is only natural but it really hurts too.
I hope you could help me get my motivation back for exercising like I had when I lost those 65 lbs and I hope you can help set me down the path of weight loss again as I really wish for nothing more than to be able to feel confident and comfortable in my own skin around people.

I’m sorry to hear about how you feel about the teasing and comments that other people make about your weight. I think the one thing you have to realize is that, no matter who we are, no matter what we look like, there will be bound to be people who will criticise you.
I think Tyra Banks looks great, but she gets criticised for being fat. She has to accept that it’s because of the nature of her work, being in Hollywood and all the stereotypes.
Perhaps you let what people say now affect you and you forget the great amount of success that you have achieved last time. Losing 65 pounds is a great, great achievement!
