Benefits Of Chicken

Chicken is a healthy form of protein as it is white meat, therefore it has considerably lesser amount of cholesterol compared to the red meat counterparts like beef. However, people take advantage of this by preparing chicken in a sinful manner.

Instead of opting for broiled, grilled or poached, some of us might prefer deep-frying. This makes the meal unhealthy, because of the high content of oil in the chicken. Therefore, try to prepare as healthy meals as possible.

Protein is the number one ingredient needed by the human body, without which our cells with die. Every single cell in our body requires protein to grow and repair themselves. There is a misconception that only muscles need protein, which is not true.

Knowing this, you now understand why a diet rich in protein is a must. However, do not load up on protein and neglect other nutrients. A balanced diet is the key to leading a fulfilling and enriching life.
